On June 4, before their monthly meeting in the Guild's New York offices, the DGA's Ethnic Diversity Steering Committee (EDSC) invited DGA director-member Malcolm D. Lee to discuss his career in a conversation moderated by EDSC Co-Chair Daniel Cooperbey.
Lee is the director of the feature films Soul Men, Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins, Undercover Brother and The Best Man. He was also a NAACP Image Awards nominee for directing the film Roll Bounce. He has been a member of the Guild since 1998.
