On December 4, the DGA's African American Steering Committee presented a special screening of director/writer LisaGay Hamilton's documentary, Beah: A Black Woman Speaks.

The film tells the remarkable story of actress Beah Richards who was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for playing Sidney Poitier's mother in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? Hamilton mixed with DGA members and guests at a reception.
