LEMI (Latino Entertainment Media Institute) and the DGA co-hosted a panel discussion with director members Patricia Cardoso, Linda Mendoza and Jesús Treviño, moderated by director member Miguel Enciso, to discuss issues affecting Latino directors and their crews. The September 9 discussion and Q&A — which addressed both the film and television arenas — was followed by a lively reception in the DGA Atrium. "Things are getting better [for Latinos in the Industry]," Treviño concluded. "But it's 30 years overdue."
