5th Annual Directors Retreat Announced
"Good Fights and Just Causes: Filmmaking With a Conscience" will be the focus of the 5th annual DGA Directors Retreat on November 16-18 at the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead.
At press time and subject to their availability, directors scheduled to discuss their films at the retreat are John Korty (Farewell to Manzanar, The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman), Edward James Olmos (American Me), Joseph Sargent (Mandela and de Klerk, Miss Evers’ Boys) and Wayne Wang (The Joy Luck Club, Chinese Box).
