In Northern California, DGA President Jack Shea (right) recently presented Executive Committee Vice Chairman and director Rufus J. Pederson, Jr. (left) with an award for Outstanding Service to the Guild. Having served the Executive Committee of the San Francisco Coordinating Committee (SFCC) for the last 16 years in a number of official and unofficial positions, Rufus interrupts his retirement to continue his work for the Northern California membership. He was nominated for the award by SFCC emeritus Lope Yap, Jr. (UPM/AD member) whose recent production The Spirit of Silicon Valley, is currently playing at a number of IMAX Theaters.
