Former DGA President George Sidney was recently honored with a
sold-out gala 50th anniversary screening of Annie Get Your Gun at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences theater in Beverly Hills. Following the screening, Sidney participated in a discussion about the film with moderator Robert Osborne; one of the film's stars, Howard Keel; and screenwriter Sidney Sheldon. The evening was introduced by Academy President Robert Rehme.
