Diversity Award Nominations Request
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2001 DGA Diversity Award.
The Award honors those who have demonstrated a consistent commitment to the hiring of women and minorities in DGA categories, and is meant to underscore how important equality in the workforce is to our organizations and membership.
Candidates for nomination should be producers or employers who have been trailblazers in the hiring of minority and female directors, unit production managers, assistant directors, technical coordinators, associate directors, stage managers and production associates.
The Award was first presented to producer/director Bruce Paltrow and
ER's Christopher Chulack at the 1997 DGA Summit on Diversity. In 1999 the Award was presented to Stephen Bochco and in 2000 to HBO.
Nominations must be received by December 11, 2000.
