Dear Shelby:
I want you to know that the DGA stands ready to support you in every
way we can as you prepare for a strike against commercial producers on
May 1.
The DGA stands with you in solidarity in your effort to obtain
well-deserved gains for AFTRA members and in opposing contract rollbacks
that threaten the standard of living for AFTRA members.
The labor history of our industry has demonstrated that there is only
one way to advance our shared collective bargaining objectives and that
is through the strength that comes with unity, both amongst our members
and between our Guilds.
You can proceed with your negotiations knowing that your brothers and
sisters of the DGA stand in support of your efforts.
Fraternally,
JACK SHEA
President
