  DGA Announces Nominees for Movies for Television for 2002 (February 03, 2003)


Directors Guild of America President Martha Coolidge and Awards Committee Chairperson Howard Storm today announced the DGA's nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Movies for Television for 2002. The winners will be announced at the 55th Annual DGA Awards Dinner on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.

This is John Frankenheimer's fourth DGA Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Movies For Television Nomination. He was previously nominated for Against the Wall in 1994; Andersonville in 1996; and again in 1997 for George Wallace. Frankenheimer passed away July 6, 2002.
