Dear Press Representative: 

Thank you for your interest in covering the 58th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards. The ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2006, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles. Arrivals will begin at 5:30 p.m. 

A completed application form must be received no later than Thursday, January 19, 2006 to receive consideration.  Please fax it along with a letter describing your press outlet and confirming your assignment to:

We will do our best to grant credentials to as many outlets as possible and will notify you of the status of your request no later than Tuesday, January 24, 2006. Please do not contact us to inquire about the status of your application. Note that, due to space limitations, we cannot guarantee you will receive the credentials you request.

Please be advised:
  • All equipment, backpacks, tote bags and the like brought to the DGA Awards may be subject to search by security personnel;
  • An official press credential and proper business attire is required of all members of the press attending the DGA Awards;
  • The DGA will be issuing DGA hard badges to all credentialed press;
  • DGA Awards credentials must be picked up at the press check-in table immediately upon arrival at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza;
  • You will be required to show a current press credential and a second form of photo ID to pick up your DGA Awards credential.
