The DGA African-American Steering Committee together with the WGAw Committee of Black Writers cordially invite you to attend A Celebration of Soul Food, in recognition of the last season of the highly acclaimed, longest running African American themed episodic television drama. The event lauds African-American directors, creators, writers and the cast of the Showtime series. The event, a cocktail reception and panel discussion, will feature director members Salim Akil and Felicia Henderson, who also served as writers and showrunners for the series.
