On Saturday, October 6, the DGA Ethnic Minority Steering Committee (EDSC) presented Breaking It Down: Assistant Directors In Action, in the boardroom of the Guild’s New York offices. The morning featured Assistant Directors H.H. Cooper (The Good Shepherd), Dale Pierce Nielsen (Freedomland), and Doug Torres (We Own the Night) in a discussion about the practical aspects of how they approach their craft.
