On Wednesday, September 20, 2006 the DGA East Coast Special Projects Committee presented An Evening with Director Allen Coulter following the 7:00 p.m. membership screening of Hollywoodland in the DGA New York Theatre.

Inspired by one of Hollywood’s most infamous real-life mysteries, Hollywoodland is an exploration of the circumstances of that lead to and followed the death of actor George Reeves who portrayed the Heroic Man of Steel on TV’s Adventures of Superman.

Following the screening director Allen Coulter (Rome, The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, The X Files) discussed the making of the film with moderator Philip Haas (Lathe of Heaven, Angels and Insects).
