This year, the Guild instituted a new database system to consolidate all member contact information, including Directory listings. The process of updating that information took longer than expected but has led to significantly more accurate public and private data. The 2008 Directory will return to the same March publication timeline of previous years. The directories were mailed on July 31, and should arrive to members by August 24.

In addition, to simplify the data gathering process further, as of September 15, 2007, members will be able to update their own credit listings online and add credits throughout the year without the 75-word limit of the printed Directory. For more information on how to change your own credits listing, you can visit the Members Only side of the www.dga.org after September 1, 2007.
