DGA Director Member John Badham has donated his ShotMaster program for directors to the DGA. Guild members may now download the program free of charge from the DGA Members only website.

The ShotMaster program is designed to make a working director's job easier by helping to organize thoughts, ideas, sequences, and storyboards. The program helps directors create a shot list with simple, self-drawn diagrams, drag-and-drop storyboards, or scans of hand-drawn storyboards. These shot lists then can be printed in an easy-to-read form, complete with thumbnail versions of the storyboards and shot diagrams. For more information or to download a copy of the program, log onto the DGA members only website and click the ShotMaster link in the Spotlight area of the homepage.
