| As part of the Guild’s ongoing efforts to provide better service to those living outside the main production hubs of Los Angeles and New York, DGA Eastern Executive Director Russell Hollander recently conducted meetings with members who work and live in the areas of New England and Washington, DC. |
 |
The Washington, DC meeting took place at the Odeon Cafe on Tuesday, July 18 and the New England-Area meeting took place at the Rustic Kitchen in Boston, MA on Wednesday, July 19. In addition to being able personally hear and address the concerns of members in these areas, Hollander also provided the attendees of both meetings with information on the state of the Guild, local production centers, recent and upcoming DGA and industry negotiations, and on the DGA-Producer Pension and Health Plans.
New DGA Eastern Assistant Executive Director Deborah Gaines accompanied Hollander to the New England meeting, and DGA-Producer Pension and Health Plans CEO Mack Clapp came to both locations to answer detailed questions about the Plans in one-on-one sessions with members.
