www.dga.org, the official website of the Directors Guild of America, has added new features on both the public site and the DGA Members Only section, in addition to the other online features previously available.
Western AD/SM/PA Council Microsite:
Created with the input of the Western AD/SM/PA Council’s Website Committee, chaired by Scott Rindenow, the mission of this new section of the DGA website is to provide the Guild’s AD/SM/PA members in the Western region with information specific to their categories, presented in an easy to use and navigable format. Along with announcements of Council meetings and events, the site also contains a contact list of the council members; rosters and descriptions of the various council committees; and a repository of contracts and forms used by members of these categories. To explore this new site, please log onto the Members Only section and click the Western AD/SM/PA Council link on the homepage.
Special Projects Committee Microsite:
Special Projects is the educational and cultural arm of the Directors Guild of America. It provides opportunities for creative exchange with programs for members and industry colleagues to celebrate the history and achievements of its members, advance their professional skills, and prepare them for the technological changes of the future. Created with the input of the DGA Special Projects Committee, chaired by Jeremy Kagan, this new section is a compilation of some of the many ongoing Special Projects programs provided for DGA members and invited guests on the East and West Coasts.
