DGA Executives and Guild Members at the Detroit membership meeting.
On Monday, June 12, 2006, Michigan area Guild members joined DGA Eastern Executive Director Russ Hollander, and Midwestern Executive Director Daniel Moore at Detroit’s Skyline Club for an update about the Guild’s ongoing organizing and field activities in Michigan.
The executives reported on recent and upcoming DGA and industry negotiations, and provided information on the DGA-Producer Pension and Health Plans. Also attending the meeting was Pension and Health Plan Chief Operating Officer Lisa Read, who had earlier in the day conducted 30-minute individual sessions with members, and was on-hand to answer individual questions about the DGA Plans.
