On Thursday, June 7, 2007, Reality TV Directors were invited to a cocktail reception at the DGA Los Angeles headquarters boardroom. Entitled, Now That’s Reality, the reception was designed to familiarize non-member directors in the Reality TV world with the advantages and protections that come with Guild membership.
The reception’s host committee, including DGA First Vice President Paris Barclay, Reality Committee Co-Chairs Craig Borders and Tony Croll; Danny Salles, Rick Telles and Brady Connell met with the non-member directors and made themselves available to answer their questions in the informal setting.
