On April 26, 2005 a DGA cocktail reception was held for the filmmakers of the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival at the Filmmaker/Industry/Press Lounge in New York. In addition to the filmmakers, the two-hour event was attended by members of the DGA’s Independent Directors Committee East and festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal.
