On Monday, April 7, following their monthly meeting, the DGA’s African American Steering Committee hosted From Music Video to Feature Film...THE BIG LEAP, an enlightening discussion by a panel of Directors who spoke about their transitions from directing music videos to their first feature films.
The panelists included Directors Benny Boom (Next Day Air), Kevin Bray (Walking Tall), Christopher Erskin (Johnson Family Vacation), and Bille Woodruff (Honey). DGA Director-member Abdul Malik Abbott (State Property) served as moderator.
