On Wednesday, March 29, 2006, the DGA Women’s Steering Committee (WSC) presented its first networking mixer exclusively for feature directors. 

The event was designed to assist these members in expanding the entries of their professional "Little Black Books" by providing an evening of networking and one-on-one sessions with production executives including: Sherryl Clark, President of Production, Arnold Kopelson Company (Don't Say A Word); Michael Paseornek, President Lionsgate Films Productions (Crash); Jason Resnick, Senior Vice President, Acquisitions, Focus Features (Lost in Translation); and Ruth Vitale, President of First Look Pictures (A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints). 

WSC Co-Chair Kari Skogland served as Event Producer, with the able assistance of her fellow Co- Chairs Nandi Bowe, Julia Pierrepont and Liz Ryan, and WSC members Catherine Jelski, Morgan, Carole Podell, and Rosemary Rodriguez.
