DGA members in the Bay Area have elected four members to serve on the Executive Committee of the Guild's San Francisco Coordinating Committee (SFCC).

Gino Caputi, former SFCC chair David Hakim, Bob Mooney, and current chair Paul Martin will serve two-year terms of office. Hakim, Mooney, and Martin have served on the Executive Committee in the past; this is Caputi’s first election to the Executive Committee. They join sitting members John Slosser, Grace Liu, Hiro Narita, Jani Vournas, and Frank Zamacona.

During the last monthly meeting, the Executive Committee held officer elections, re-electing Paul Martin to a second term as Chairman and Frank Zamacona as Treasurer; and electing John Slosser as Vice-Chairman and David Hakim as Secretary. Sub-committee Chairs and members were also appointed. Gino Caputi will take over the Education Sub-committee chairmanship from Cathy Hammer, and work with members Cathy Hammer, David Hakim, Alex Sorrano, Gabe Hanly, and John Slosser. Bob Chic will continue as the Chair of the Mentoring Sub-committee, assisted by member John Slosser. David Hakim will continue as Chair of the Networking Sub-committee. Rufus Pederson will continue as Chair of the Screening Sub-committee, which now includes members Hiro Narita, Jani Vournas, and Gabe Hanly. Grace Liu will continue as Chair of the Production Information & News Committee (PinC), with member Frank Simeone assisting.

The SFCC hosts a number of educational presentations and networking events during the year, in order to fulfill its objectives of facilitating the exchange of ideas among members, maintaining contacts with other guilds and unions, and furthering professional opportunities for all Northern California members.
