Council Updates

The AD/UPM Council has elected UPM Duncan Henderson as its 2nd Vice Chair. Having served on the council for the past three years, Duncan was elected 2nd Vice Chair to replace Cheryl Downey who retired from the Guild last month to take a position as the new executive director of the Costume Designers Guild Local 892. UPM Victor Hsu will be taking Downey's seat on the Council. Mark Hansson has also been elected as the Council's 10th alternate.
Committee Updates

AD/UPM Paul Martin has been elected Chairman of the Executive Committee of the San Francisco Coordinating Committee. Formerly the Vice Chair of the SFCC, Martin has served on the committee since being appointed to fill an empty seat in 2002. Martin replaces DGA Second Alternate Board Member David Hakim, who served as Chair of the SFCC from 2000 to 2004. Rufus Pederson was elected to fill the Vice-Chair post and Frank Zamacona to the Treasurer position formerly held by Bob Mooney. The other newly elected SFCC members are Jon Francis, Grace Liu, Hiro Narita, and Jani Vournas.
