On Wednesday, January 9, 2008, the Executive Committee of the SFCC hosted its first workshop of the year, SAG & AFTRA Contracts, moderated by AD Gino Caputi. Panelists were local SAG/AFTRA Assistant Executive Director Karen Lipney, and SAG/AFTRA business representatives Tova Zeff, Fatna Sallak-Williams and Michael Bracamonte.

Bay Area DGA members gathered in the Terrace Room of The Bellevue Club in Oakland for the 3-hour program, which featured overviews of the various contracts and forms performers are required to fill out in the different media arenas. Using samples from their office, each panelist demonstrated the proper way to fill out the forms, and then engaged in an individual fifteen-minute Q&A session, following the initial half-hour group presentation.
