The DGA’s Independent Directors Committees (IDC) hosted receptions for Sundance Film Festival filmmakers in Los Angeles on December 11, 2007 and New York on December 13, 2007.
In Los Angeles, Sundance’s Festival Director Geoff Gilmore and Programming Director John Cooper and staff offered survival tips to the filmmakers. DGA IDC members and 2006 DGA Feature Film Award nominees Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine) also gave the audience the benefit of their own festival experience.
