On Saturday, November 19, 2005, the DGA Western AD/UPM/TC Council’s AD/UPM Mentor Committee presented the second section of its two-part seminar series, The Masters of Breakdown, Scheduling and Budgeting.

This installment entitled, “Big Time Budgeting” featured panelists: Producer/UPM Betsy Danbury of Paul Haggis’ Crash; MGM Sr. VP, Production Michael Glick, UPM Dean Jones of Chris Columbus’ Rent; Producer Michael Klick of the television series 24; and Director/Producer/UPM/Author Ralph Singleton sharing their personal tips and techniques for utilizing the latest in budgeting software, using their own movies as examples. DGA Frank Capra Award-winning UPM Burt Bluestein moderated the event.
