On Saturday, February 7, 2004 the Directors Guild of America celebrated its 56th Annual DGA Awards beginning with a breakfast for the nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in several categories of Film and Television. This was followed by a symposium where all five DGA Feature Film Award Nominees were able to discuss the making of their celebrated works.
The evening culminated with the 56th Annual DGA Awards Ceremony at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles where the winners of each category was announced and the several distinguished DGA members received DGA service awards.
