Old Man River

Recipient of multiple awards, Old Man River is the filmic expression of the brilliant one-woman multimedia play written and performed by Cynthia Gates Fujikawa about her late father, Asian character actor Jerry Fujikawa. Emmy-award winning director Allan Holzman (Survivors of the Holocaust) presents a kaleidoscopic journey which brings Cynthia face to face with American racism, specifically the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II, and eventually leads her to a sister she never knew existed.
