Dogtown

Dogtown

Inspired by Nikolai Gogol's The Inspector General, Dogtown chronicles the homecoming of a failed porn actor, who suddenly finds himself mistakenly being celebrated by the small town folks who once ignored him. When the former high school beauty queen takes notice, our hero finds himself at the top of the heap, and also the target of a disgruntled former boyfriend who is eager to expose the truth.

Winner of the Best Director and Best Screenplay awards at the Hermosa and Newport Beach Film Festivals, Dogtown has been hailed "a masterpiece" by Suddeutsche Zeitung, and the LA Times Syndicate wrote "Mary Stuart Masterson gives the performance of her career."
