La Mar Stewart

My career in the industry began back in 2005 in the classrooms of Solano Community College, where I've  focused on Film Production and Public Speaking. My break into the industry came when I took a job as a set intern on the feature film, The Zodiac. From that point on I was bitten by the bug and made it my ambition to be the best that I could in the career move that I chose for myself.    I am now capable of successfully assisting the Director and Producer manage a successful set, manage time criteria for principle talent and also work hand in hand with each department from start to finish to help create a positive set, as well as anticipate the needs of the Producer, Director, and the AD Department. Also with previous productions I am capable of scheduling, maintaining accurate SAG contracts, exhibit G’s, crew pay vouchers, I-9 vouchers for background & extra’s, along with maintaining accurate PR’s and extra breakdown sheets. Including check-in, extra’s for wardrobe fittings interact with casting directors and agencies, along with anticipating the needs of key personnel. I can work independently, productively, professionally, and capable of multitasking. I attribute all my success with hard work, the joy of the business, along with the help and support of family, good friends and colleagues in the industry.
