Born in Hollywood, Thomas Bliss began making 8mm films in junior high school. After graduating UCLA Film and Law Schools, Bliss seized a spot in the DGA - AMPTP Assistant Directors Training Program. Bliss has been honored by two CABLE-ACE Awards and a Peabody Award. After running Beacon Pictures for ten years, Bliss co-founded Strike Entertainment in 2002. Bliss has served on the Board of Trustees of the Assistant Directors Training Program, the Board of Governors of the Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
