As part of the Guild’s ongoing efforts to serve members residing outside Los Angeles and New York, Associate National Executive Director/Eastern Executive Director Russell Hollander recently conducted a Washington, DC area membership meeting on Monday, December 19.
The meeting took place at Maggiano’s restaurant. In addition to hearing and responding to the concerns of the members present, Hollander provided the members with information on the state of the Guild, including the last round of negotiations, improvements to the DGA website and local employment opportunities. DGA-Producer Pension and Health Plans CEO Lisa Read was also present to provide information on the Plans. In addition, Ms. Read was available for one-on-one half-hour appointments with plan participants to discuss individual questions and concerns.
