SFCC Fall Mixer

Bay Area Members Attend SFCC Fall Mixer

October 15, 2014 A San Francisco Coordinating Committee Event

On October 15, the DGA’s San Francisco Coordinating Committee (SFCC) held its 2014 Fall Networking Mixer at San Francisco’s University Club. The event gave Bay Area-based Guild members and local industry professionals an enjoyable evening of networking with their peers as they celebrated the Northern California film, television and video/digital industry.

After welcoming addresses from SFCC Vice-Chair Kathleen Courtney and former Chairs Lope Yap Jr. and Paul Martin, the Committee presented Diane Baker with a certificate of merit in recognition of her dedication and contributions to the film community of Northern California. Baker is the Executive Director of Acting/Executive Producer of Academy of Art University's Film Production Studio and has served on many film festival juries.

About the Committee:

The SFCC was formed in 1978 to coordinate Guild activities in the Bay Area. The Committee hosts a number of educational presentations and networking events during the year, in order to fulfill its objectives of facilitating the exchange of ideas, maintaining contacts with other guilds and unions, and furthering professional opportunities for all Northern California DGA members.
