Director Daniel Barnz (Beastly, Phoebe in Wonderland) spoke to the audience about the making of Won’t Back Down. In the film, a teacher (Viola Davis) and a mother (Maggie Gyllenhaal) team up in a battle against an entrenched bureaucracy in order to transform a failing inner city school. Director Dan Rush (Everything Must Go) moderated the discussion after the DGA screening in in Los Angeles on October 7.
